Features

Coin-operated racing games have evolved significantly with the advent of virtual reality, and one such system is designed for solo players to immerse themselves in a virtual environment using HTC VIVE VR glasses. Here’s how it works:

1. The machine is a single-seat unit that requires the use of HTC VIVE VR glasses to experience the game. If the glasses are not worn, the screen will remain black, and the game cannot be operated or experienced.

2. Consumers pay the experience fee at the counter, after which a staff member assists them in donning the VR headset to begin the adventure.

3. Before the game starts, a warning message is displayed advising players that:

(a) The content and gameplay are purely fictional, and in the real world, traffic rules must be followed for safe driving;

(b) Individuals with conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, pregnancy, intoxication, or susceptibility to dizziness should refrain from playing;

(c) Players must fasten their safety belts throughout the game, as failure to do so will result in the motion platform being disabled.

4. The machine features four cinematic scenes, including “Factory” and “Canyon,” without the option for vehicle or character selection. At the start of the experience, the system automatically selects two cinematic scenes to compose the race track.

The experience lasts about 5 minutes, after which it concludes, providing consumers with a thrilling and timed racing experience.
